In many federal states there are special advice centers for emigrants. These advice centers are usually run by the Raphaelswerk and the Diakonisches Werk. In North Rhine-Westphalia, the Diakonie Rheinland-Westfalen-Lippe e.V. in Düsseldorf and the Raphaelswerke in Essen and Rheine have set themselves the task of advising emigrants from North Rhine-Westphalia before they leave the country and preparing them for their new life outside North Rhine-Westphalia and Germany.
